About OptionStack
A plain, independent index of options trading software. Facts from vendors' own pages, dated and re-checked regularly.
What this site is
OptionStack lists 76 options trading tools across 10 categories: flow and unusual activity, GEX and dealer positioning, strategy visualizers, screeners, backtesters, trading journals, charting, volatility analytics, data APIs, and education. For each tool we show what it does, what its main number measures, its plans and prices, free tier, trial, data delay, platforms, and the date we last checked.
How we check prices
- We fetch each tool's official pricing page. A price appears here only if that exact figure is on the vendor's page in our latest check.
- If we cannot verify a price (the page needs a login, is built entirely in JavaScript, blocks automated visits, or is ambiguous), we show "See site" and add the tool to our review list. Right now 54 of 76 tools have verified prices.
- Some sites ask not to be visited by automated tools. We respect that and check those by hand.
- We re-check every page regularly. When a price changes, we update it and add a row to that tool's price history.
- Last full check: Oct 18, 2026.
What we leave out
- Brokers and broker-dealers. No brokerages and no "open an account" offers.
- Signals and alert services. No trade alerts, copy trading, or services that tell you what to buy or sell.
- Ratings and rankings. We do not score tools or name a "best" one. Lists are sorted A to Z.
- Testimonials and performance claims. We do not publish them, and we do not repeat vendors' claims about results.
